Privacy Policy

Rosario María is an app for praying the Holy Rosary, published by Ricardo Aveledo ("we"). This policy explains what the app does with information about you. In short: we do not collect personal information, we have no accounts, no advertising and no tracking.

What stays on your device

Your settings (language, appearance, prayers, voice options), your prayer streak and the place where you left a rosary are stored only on your device. They are deleted when you uninstall the app.

What the app sends

To know how many rosaries are prayed with the app, it adds one to a few global, anonymous counters stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore):

a rosary finished with the Amen button;
a tap on a Premium option or on the Premium button, and a completed Premium purchase.

The counters are totals for all users. They contain no name, email, location, device identifier or content of your prayers, and they are not linked to you.

To protect the counters from misuse, the app signs in to Firebase Authentication anonymously. This creates a random identifier for the app installation, with no personal information. We do not use it to identify, profile or contact you. As with any internet service, Google processes the network address of the connection to deliver the request. See Firebase privacy and security.

Purchases

Premium is a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive your payment details; we only learn from the store whether Premium is owned on your account, so it can be unlocked and restored.

Notifications

Reminders and the notice when a guided prayer finishes are local notifications created on your device. No notification data is sent to us. You can turn them off in your device settings.

What we do not do

No advertising, no analytics or tracking tools, no sale or sharing of data.
No access to your contacts, location, photos, microphone or camera.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal information about you, there is nothing to access, correct or delete on our side. Uninstalling the app removes everything stored on your device. If you have a question or request, write to raveledo.opinion@gmail.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
